Abham Inc., operating as Abham Freight (“we”, “us”), runs this website. This notice explains what personal information we collect through it and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect your name, company name and email address, along with the shipment details you enter (pickup location, destination, equipment, commodity and HS code).
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To prepare and send the quote you asked for, and to follow up on it.
- To book and manage shipments if you become a customer.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our email, and, if you ship with us, with the carriers, truckers and customs authorities needed to move your cargo.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and related emails for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@abhamfreight.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
